I have been involved with the hearing care industry for 20+ years and have worked with numerous brands. When I opened my own business, I wanted to work with Starkey Hearing Technologies which is an American, privately owned company and is one of the largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world. They constantly strive for researching and using cutting edge technology and service. (Audibel is a network of hearing healthcare professionals with more than 1,000 locations throughout the US. Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, the company prides itself on providing outstanding service and the highest quality technology to patients. For more information about Audibel, visit Audibel.com. Along with being an exclusive Audibel provider, as an owner, I have the ability to work with other brands to find the precise hearing technology for our patients.
My personal goal and my company goal is not to reach any sales goals but our main focus and mission is to help as many people as possible. I will never sell a hearing aid to someone that doesn’t need it or oversell the technology to what my patient wants or needs. You can rest assured you will get honest, no-pressure service and information. I pride our office attitude being “go above and beyond” to guarantee satisfaction. The comments and reactions I see daily from someone that has not heard their spouse, friend or family member in years is everything. Plus, as someone suffering from hearing loss and tinnitus, I can relate. My hearing loss may be due to environmental factors – concerts in my younger days – maybe being in front of the speakers at a Rolling Stones concert wasn’t the best idea but hearing loss is hearing loss – no matter if it is age related, genetic, environmental or medical. The problems with hearing haven’t changed but how hearing aids adjust to noise has changed with the technology and the ability to reduce background noise is always evolving. The biggest improvement is Smartphone interaction, rechargeability and connectability. I enjoy the Smartphone compatibility with my hearing aids as I am on my phone a lot and enjoy the streaming of phone calls as well as ease of adjustments with my cell phone. Plus it helps with my tinnitus.

As a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in both North and South Carolina, I help people who are suffering from hearing loss. Whether it is not being able to understand what a child or people in a meeting are saying, hearing your spouse, or even hearing the birds sing, hearing loss has a profound impact on our lives and the lives of those we love.
I am a graduate of the University of Virginia and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery branch of the US Army. A Desert Storm Veteran: I attained the rank of Captain before pursuing interests in the civilian market. After working in the Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research industries, I was ready for a change and became a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. This was not a random decision. I have suffered from hearing loss from my service in the military and my passion for competing in pistol competitions. I know firsthand the impact that hearing loss has had on my career and personal life.
As a Board Certified, Hearing Instrument Specialist, I am able to use my clinical and personal experience to help others who suffer from hearing loss. I can not see myself doing anything that is as rewarding or as fun as what I am doing today!
